Our Story
At Greenwood Trading Post, we pride ourselves on being a premier gun and ammunition shop located in Greenwood, IN. We opened our doors in 2022 under the ownership of Joshua Malcolmson, who had a vision to create a one-stop-shop for all firearm enthusiasts in the area.
Our shop is conveniently located at 2081 Fairview Place, Suite A, and we can be reached at 317-910-9911. We specialize in buying, selling, and trading guns, and offer a wide range of other services including ammunition sales, custom builds, gun repairs, gun training, engravings, and disaster and survival kits.
We carry a diverse selection of products including ammo, emergency meal kits, gun grips, handguns, holsters, jewelry, knives, pistols, rifles, scopes, shotguns, and sniper rifles. Our inventory is always expanding, and we pride ourselves on offering the latest and greatest products in the industry.
In addition to our core services, we also buy gold. Whether you have gold coins, jewelry, or other items, we are happy to give you a fair price for your items.

I will NEVER go anywhere else. Josh is the most honest business man, and a father. Why does this matter? He took almost an hour to explain which guns were best for home protection, sat there and made sure the right gun fit in my hand, practiced with me how and where to shoot, gave me safety tips, etc. He has a very ‘family man’ attitude. He’s also a veteran! He sat and taught me about the different parts as well and why they matter. He’s not just out to get a sale and sell you anything he’s got. And he has some of the most fair pricing I’ve seen in a gun/ammo shoppe. If you’re gonna go anywhere, make sure it’s here! Do NOT waste your time anywhere else!
